BDR AUTOS LTD is the data controller responsible for the personal data you provide through this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
When you use the Contact form, submit a Buy It Now request, or use Track Your Order, we collect the information you provide directly: your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message or enquiry. We do not knowingly collect any special category data, and we do not require you to create an account or provide payment details through this website.
We process your data to respond to your enquiry and take steps towards a possible contract with you (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and, where relevant, on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing efficient customer service and maintaining accurate order-tracking records (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
We retain enquiry and order data only for as long as necessary to handle your request, complete any resulting sale, and meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with third parties where strictly necessary — for example a delivery partner arranging vehicle transport, or a professional adviser bound by confidentiality — and always under appropriate safeguards.
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure ("right to be forgotten"); restrict or object to certain processing; request a portable copy of your data; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection supervisory authority (for example the ICO in the UK, or your local Data Protection Authority within the EU) if you believe your data has been mishandled.
This site uses only essential, strictly-necessary cookies required for the site to function (for example, to remember your inventory filter selections). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) transmission, to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
Where your data is transferred outside the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we ensure an adequate level of protection is in place, such as via Standard Contractual Clauses, in line with GDPR requirements.
Our services are not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect data from, children under the age of 16.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
